Conditions treated
Chronic Wounds
A chronic wound is a non-healing wound that does not heal in an orderly set of stages and in a predictable amount of time as acute wounds do. Wounds that do not heal within one to three month are then considered chronic.
Acute Wounds
Acute wounds are wounds that progress through normal stages of healing within four weeks. If a wound does not progress normally through these stages, then it can be considered a chronic wound.
