What is Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)?
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) is a medical treatment designed to promote healing in wounds by applying controlled suction to the affected area. This therapy utilizes a specialized device that creates negative pressure, or a vacuum, over the wound, aiming to accelerate the healing process.

What is the NEXA™ NPWT System?
The NEXA system is a small, portable device that delivers a controlled suction to the wound.
- Your wound will remain covered and protected.
- Excess fluid drainage and debris will be pulled from the wound and captured in a pouch inside the device.
- An alert will notify you when it is time to change the fluid container pouch.
- Dressing changes will be done every 48-72 hours by your health care provider.
The NEXA System is designed with patient convenience in mind
Single-button operation requires minimal training and makes it easy to use.
The device will operate for approximately 10 hours before recharging.
The NEXA system is lightweight and small, ideal for mobile and active users.
It has a handy carrying case with shoulder strap and belt loop, making it easy to take with you outside of the home.
