Robbie Walsh, MS

Robbie has 30 years of experience in the medical device industry, all of which has been in his specialist field of quality assurance and regulatory affairs, including many years of experience in senior quality and regulatory management roles. Previous to AOTI, he was at Boston Scientific for 15 years as Director of Regulatory Affairs in their Galway, Ireland facility. Prior to this, Robbie worked in both a Quality and Regulatory capacity in a variety of multinational and start up medical device companies including Puritan Bennett, Tyco Healthcare, eVent Medical Ltd and Respironics Inc. From an academic perspective, Robbie has a BSc in Electronic Engineering and an MSc in Reliability Systems, both from the National University of Limerick. As an acknowledged expert in the quality and regulatory field, Robbie is currently a member of the Irish Medtech Association Regulatory Steering Committee and is a former Chair of the Irish Medtech Association Quality & Regulatory Forum.
